Design for Textiles:
Colour
As textile makers, colour is a vital tool to our creativity, but we can sometimes get a little stuck or feeling we are re-treading the same ideas. That is where DESIGN can come in!
Follow along with Kate through her online Design for Textiles: Colour course which has been created from the many years of experience of teaching students about becoming confident in finding their own visual language.
In the course you’ll be guided through mixing colours based on a project you are currently involved in, and how you can explore those colours with exercises focused on observation and experimentation.
The course has been created to unlock your creativity and take it beyond what you think is possible with LOADS of things that you can take into tapestry or weaving, into print or felt embroidery, into knitting or crochet.
