Design for Textiles Shape

When making textiles, composition helps us to communicate our creative ideas.  It can be really easy to simply work with our first idea.  Yet we miss a real chance to explore our ideas around shape and space.  That is where DESIGN can help!

Work with Kate through her online Design for Textiles: Shape course, created from many years experience of helping students build confidence in discovering their own visual language.

In the course you'll be guided through exercises, based on a project you are currently involved in, to help you explore how shape affects your compositions and design in textiles.

The course has been created to unlock your creativity and take it beyond what you think is possible with LOADS of thing that you can take into tapestry or weaving, into print or felt embroidery, into knitting or crochet.
